As Thanksgiving approaches and more and more people will be spending time in the kitchen cooking, it’s important to note that the number one reason for house fires is cooking fires with over 175 thousand every year leading to over 125 deaths. Captain Mike Wilson with the Ottawa Fire Department with the biggest reason for a kitchen fire.
