A bridge in Osage County is closed after a trailer carrying an excavator on Highway 75, slammed into it. The South Morrill Road bridge over U. S. 75 will be closed indefinitely, after the excavator arm tore into the bridge from below and ripped a hole through the base of the bridge and the roadway above.
Pictures posted on KOFO’s facebook page show the excavator’s arm sticking up through the roadway. The bridge is just south of Melvern Lake where Morrill Road crosses over Highway 75. No injuries were reported in the incident that happened yesterday afternoon, November 19th.
