Last week, several Franklin County commissioners attended the Kansas Association of Counties annual meeting in Wichita. Commissioner Don Stottlemyer says he had an interesting conversation with Kansas State Secretary of Transportation, Calvin Reed as he randomly sat next to him at a table. He says they had a nice conversation and reed ask him if he had any concerns in Franklin County:
The concern was about the states plan for K-33 highway. No word on when the new public meeting will take place.
