FORT SCOTT — Fort Scott Community College will host a free two-hour workshop from 1 to 3 Jan. 26 for those who’d like to start their own businesses. The workshop will be in the Greyhound Room at the college’s administrative building. Topics include planning; startup and ownership considerations; licensing and registration; marketing; financing and capital; and business advice. Advance registration is required by Jan. 24.
