PAOLA — The Miami County Sheriff’s office is asking for help for solving at least recent three night-time fires they believe was set by one arsonist. The first fire more than a month ago destroyed an abandoned house near the intersection of 215th Street and Nall Road in northeastern Miami County The second fire damaged the bathrooms at Wallace Park in Paola Dec. 28. The third fire destroyed a vacant house Jan. 1 near the intersection of 327th Street and Stanton Road in western Miami County. The sheriff’s office said a Ford truck was spotted at two of the fires.
