GARNETT – The last day for Anderson County residents to return a survey to Anderson County Hospital is April 30. The Anderson County Hospital, working with Southeast Kansas Health Department and other area health providers, is conducting a community health needs assessment for the county. The hospital said the results of the survey will be used to develop a list of health care priorities. The survey was mailed to 1,000 randomly-selected residents. However, others can also take part in the survey and pick up a copy at Anderson County Hospital or Southeast Kansas Health Department, or go on-line at Https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/t55wdfq. The survey questions include diet, nutrition, exercise, health concerns and access to care. A town hall meeting will be scheduled later to discuss the results.
