OTTAWA — The city of Ottawa is now streaming the Government Access Channel 20 live on the city Web site www.ottawaks.gov and on www.ustream.tv. The service free of charge to the public who has requested this and for those who don’t have access to Channel 20 on Allegiance cable system. The streaming will be every day, 24 hours. The live streaming will include city and county commission meetings, legislative coffees, parades, infomercials and other programming. For those who want to get the streaming on a mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet, a current list of IOS and Android apps available to download may be found at www.ustream.tv/mobile. Adobe Flash is required for viewing and a download speed of at least 1 megabytes per second is suggested. If you go to U-stream, you may also get commercials.
