OTTAWA — A 26-year-old man wanted in connection with the kidnapping of an Ottawa woman in May is now in the Franklin County jail. Jordan Henson was arrested Sunday night in Wellington and was taken to Ottawa Monday evening. He is being held $250,000 bond. An Ottawa patrol sergeant following up on information received Sunday made contact with Henson by telephone, Ottawa Police Capt. Adam Weingartner said. The officer arranged to meet Henson in Wellington, he said. The Ottawa Police Department requested help from the Wellington Police Department in arresting Henson, who was arrested without incident, Weingartner said. He is being held in connection in a domestic incident in which a 32-year-old Ottawa woman was kidnapped and taken to Emporia. The woman, received minor injuries during the incident, escaped from a residence in Emporia and was helped by a citizen until Emporia police arrived. Her pickup was stolen but was later found abandoned in Marion County.
