GARNETT — The Anderson County Museum in Garnett will close for the season on Sept. 30. The Anderson County Historical Society said it is also looking at estimates at repairing sidewalks on the west and south side of the museum, which is the former Longfellow School, and at options for other improvements. At the group’s recent meeting, long-time historical society president Dorothy Lickteig announced she will step down at the end of the year.
