TOPEKA — The Kansas Historical Society’s third annual Kansas Ancestor Fair is Saturday at the Kansas Historical Society in western Topeka. This free event is held in celebration of Family History Month and features informational displays by local heritage, historical, and lineage groups. Instructional seminars on a variety of family history topics will also be presented. No preregistration is required. A food vendor will be available on the grounds during the event. The Kansas Ancestor Fair is designed to encourage interest in family heritage and to highlight resources available in northeast Kansas to assist those who are interested in learning more about their family history.
