PAOLA — Two people were injured when a police pursuit ended in a two-vehicle crash in Paola Friday night. The Kansas Highway Patrol said police officers tried to pull over Chet Brown, 36, Paola; at the intersection of Miami and Gold when he took off. Brown blasted through two intersections before hitting a car driven by 36-year-old Robin Berrey, 36, Paola; in the third intersection at Peoria and Gold, the highway patrol said. Berrey and a passenger in her car, Kendal Berrey, 37, Paola; were injured and were taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital. They were wearing seat belts. Brown wasn’t injured and wasn’t wearing a seat belt, the highway patrol said.
