LOUISBURG — A Louisburg High School teacher was killed in a crash on K-68 near Louisburg Wednesday afternoon. Glenda Beasley, 67, Louisburg was stopped behind a west-bound line of vehicles waiting for a school bus to unload children about a mile west of Louisburg when her SUV was rear-ended by a pickup truck driven by Todd Brandt, 23, Osawatomie, the Miami County Sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office said she died at the scene. Brandt was checked by EMS personnel and released at the scene. There were no other injuries and no other vehicles were hit. Beasley was a longtime business and computer teacher at the Louisburg High school. The sheriff’s office said the crash remains under investigation.
