BALDWIN CITY — A 64-year-old Baldwin City man reported to the Franklin County Sheriff’s office Friday that someone had driven four-wheelers through his alfalfa field at Nebraska Terrace and Thomas Road northeast of Ottawa. He estimated the damage to his field at about $1,000. During an investigation, a deputy also heard from a 53-year-old Wellsville woman who also reported damage to her alfalfa field across the road. She estimated damage to her field at about $400.
