OTTAWA — ECKAN will hold a farewell reception for chief operating officer Aaron Heckman who will return to his hometown of Independence, Kan. The public reception will be 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday at the ECKAN central office, 1320 S. Ash. Heckman has been with the social agency for eight years and has served as deputy to CEO Richard Jackson.
