COLONY — A domestic violence incident ended with a car chase covering two counties last week. Anderson County Sheriff Jeff Hupp told the Anderson County Review that deputies were called to Colony for a domestic violence dispute. A man and a woman were injured and treated at the scene by EMS crews. But deputies at the scene learned a 29-year-old man had left to get a firearm and threatened to return, Hupp said. Allen County agencies were alerted to watch for the man, who was identified by Hupp as Seth Kress. Kress has relatives in Allen County, he said. An officer in Allen County saw Kress and tried to pull over his vehicle but he took off, beginning a chase. The chase went into Anderson County and Kress was stopped in Colony. Kress was charged with various criminal and traffic charges in connection with the incident, Hupp said.
