SPRING HILL — A two-vehicle accident on U.S. 169 near Spring Hill Tuesday night sent at least two people to area hospitals. Ronald Dougan, 84, Spring Hill; and 18-year-old Dylan Allenbrand, 18, Spring Hill; were both driving south on U.S.169, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. Dougan was going at a slow rate of speed when his pickup was rear-ended by Allenbrand’s car, the highway patrol said. Allenbrand’s car rolled over. Allenbrand was taken to Olathe Medical Center. Dougan was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. A passenger in Allenbrand’s car, Guntar Allenbrand, 9, Spring Hill; received possible injuries but the highway patrol didn’t say if he was hospitalized. They were all wearing seat belts.
