LENEXA — A man with a Kansas concealed-carry permit accidentally shot his wife at a Lenexa restaurant. Lenexa police told KCTV Channel 5 that the man and his wife were eating at the Longbranch Steakhouse Jan. 2 when he reached into his front pocket and accidentally fired a small caliber handgun. The woman was wounded in the knee. Lenexa police said her injury wasn’t life-threatening. In the wake of the shooting, owners of the restaurant are reconsidering what to do about concealed weapons.
