OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office is investigating at least three burglaries since the weekend. A 31-year-old Pomona woman reported Saturday burglars stole tools from a house which is being remodeled in the 200 block of Pawnee Road northwest of Pomona. There was no immediate estimate of the loss. A caretaker reported a burglary and several items stolen from the 300 block of Colorado Road south of Williamsburg Monday. The sheriff’s office said the estimate of items stolen and damaged was about $5,000. A 25-year-old Ottawa man reported Monday burglars broke into his grandfather’s farm equipment shed located in the 3100 block of Kentucky Road west of Ottawa. The sheriff’s office said about $850 worth of equipment was stolen.
