GARNETT- Garnett attorney Steven Doering died at Saint Luke’s Plaza Hospital in Kansas City Monday at the age of 62. He practiced law in Garnett for 10 years and worked with attorney Orville Cole before practicing on his own for 26 years. He was the attorney for Anderson County USD 365. A funeral service was Friday morning at 10:30 at the First United Methodist Church of Garnett. Memorial contributions may be made to the Garnett Public Library or to the Garnett Masonic Lodge.
