BALDWIN CITY — Baker University will name an expansion at Harter Union after outgoing president Pat Long. Renovations to the cafeteria are scheduled to be completed by the time students return for the fall semester, with the two-story addition to be completed later. The new area will be named the Pat McCaslin Long Student Center. Nearly $2 million has been raised for the project. Baker trustee Susanne Richardson Teel was the lead donor for the project and chose to name the new facility after Long, who announced earlier this month that she will retire in June 2014.
