OSAWATOMIE- A preliminary hearing was Thursday afternoon in Miami County District Court for an Osawatomie woman who was part of a mother-daughter duo accused of drug sales.  Fifty-two year old Linda Blackstone has been charged with felony distribution of hallucinogens and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.  Her daughter, 23-year old Julia Blackstone has also been charged with felony distribution of hallucinogens and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.  Her preliminary was postponed because of winter weather and will be rescheduled.  The Osawatomie Graphic reports the elder Blackstone was on probation from a June 2008 drug conviction in Franklin County for possession of drugs, depressants, stimulants and hallucinogens with the intent to sell.  The paper says police found marijuana, cash, narcotics packaging material, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, several guns and stolen property during a raid of their home.  Julia Blackstone’s  two week-old daughter was taken into protective custody following the arrests.
