OTTAWA — Preliminary hearings for two men charged in an armed robbery at the Princeton Quick Shop in December have been scheduled for April 5 in Franklin County District Court. The hearings will determine if there is enough evidence to try William Pope, 31, Garnett; and Dalton Dunnagan, 22, Mound City; on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault. A judge agreed to reduce Dunnagan’s bond to $50,000. Two men entered the Quick Shop and one brandished what appeared to be a hand gun and demanded money from the cash register. The cashier gave the robbers a little more than $1,200. Within minutes, Ottawa police officers pulled over a car matching the description of the car used in the robbery along I-35 between the K-68 and 15th Street interchanges. A 30-year-old Topeka woman in the car with the two men was questioned and released.
