OTTAWA – The city of Ottawa will host a public retirement reception for City Inspector Dave Piotrowsky Friday afternoon from 2 to 4 in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall. Piotrowsky has worked for the city 25 years. He is certified in a number of areas including as a building plans examiner, building official, combination residential inspection and commercial building inspection. Piotrowsky rates his most unusual work was the American Eagle Outfitters project ranging from the huge rolls of plans, the complexity of the building’s systems and its sheer size.
