POMONA — The West Franklin High School FFA Chapter is a finalist in the FFA’s national t-shirt contest. Chapter Advisor Angelle Higbie says the Chapter’s t-shirt, sporting the slogan “You’ve Got to Risk it if you Want the Brisket” is the only finalist from Kansas. The public can go to the FFA’s web site, Facebook or other social media to vote for their favorite t-shirt. Higbie says the winning t-shirt will be sold in the FFA’s national catalog, with the winning school getting half of the sale proceeds. The deadline to vote is Friday night at 6.
