OTTAWA–In high school basketball, Ottawa High School picked up another 4-A State basketball honor. The Cyclones received a Sportsmanship Award from the Kansas State High School Activities Association. Anderson County, who played the Cyclones in the opening round of the state tournament, also received a Sportsmanship Award. The KSHSAA says it measures teams, fans, students and school officials, according to a set rating standard based on the guide of winning with character and losing with dignity.
