HANOVER — The Hollenberg Pony Express Station State Historic Site will open its visitor center April 3. Visitor center hours will be 10a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, until Sept. 28. Visitors are welcome to walk the nature trail from dawn to dusk year-round. Admission to the cabin and visitor center exhibits is $3 for adults, $1 for students. Kansas Historical Foundation members and children five and younger admitted free. The Hollenberg Pony Express Station is in north central Kansas near Hanover.
