OTTAWA–A kitchen fire Wednesday afternoon in the 800 block of South Locust caused little, if any, damage. Ottawa Fire Chief Jeff Carner says someone was using a toaster oven when the contents starting smoking. The toaster oven was removed before firefighters arrived, and there was no damage.
