GARDNER — A 17-year-old Baldwin City teen was injured as a result of a minivan fire on I-35 near Gardner Saturday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol said Kyle Williams was driving the minivan north on I-35 south of Gardner Road when the minivan caught fire for an unknown reason. Williams opened the door and jumped out of the moving van and was injured, the Highway Patrol said. The van continued into the ditch. Williams was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
