ANDERSON COUNTY — How much can you accomplish in 10 or 15 minutes? The Anderson County Review reports that teachers and students in Anderson County USD 365 schools will learn the answer to that question by Memorial Day. The USD 365 School Board voted to extend the school day by 10 to 15 minutes each day in May to make up extra snow days. School officials are pondering how to work the extra time into school days and ensure the extra time is used productively. Because of the district’s contract with teachers, Superintendent Don Blome and Anderson County teachers have been working out the agreement to extend the school days rather than conduct school after Memorial Day.
