OTTAWA — A Franklin County District Court hearing for a 26-year-old Ottawa man who was the subject of a standoff and manhunt earlier this year has been continued to Wednesday. Justin Wheeler has been charged with criminal restraint and battery. After a woman reported a domestic battery incident, sheriff’s officers surrounded Wheeler’s home in the 4100 block of Iowa Terrace north of Ottawa in January but he evaded them and was later captured on foot that morning by Ottawa police.
