OTTAWA — An Emporia man originally charged with kidnapping his ex-girlfriend from Ottawa last summer has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Jordan-Alan Henson agreed to a plea deal and pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, theft, and criminal threat. The victim and Henson had history that included domestic violence and a restraining order, but an early May squabble led to the physical abuse and kidnapping of the woman, who escaped in Emporia. Henson fled and dumped the woman’s pickup in Marion County. He surrendered in Wellington.
