OLATHE — A 58-year-old Edgerton woman was injured Wednesday afternoon in a one-car accident on I-35 in Olathe in front of the south-bound scalehouse. Roxanne Casaert was driving south in the left-hand lane when her car drifted off the left side of the highway, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. She veered back onto the highway, almost striking another vehicle in the right-hand lane. She overcorrected back to the left lane and went off the roadway into the median and lost control of her car. The highway patrol said her car struck a raised berm and flipped several times, coming to rest in the north-bound lanes of I-35. She was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The highway patrol said she wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
