OTTAWA — The Ottawa school board has narrowed the list of finalists for Ottawa’s next school superintendent to three, plus an alternate. Board member Bill Allegre said the board will invite the three candidates to Ottawa next week and the week after. About 15 people applied and they were all strong candidates, he said. The board hasn’t named the finalists, but one is Dr. Brian Kraus, the interim Ottawa school superintendent who has said he has applied for the vacancy. The new candidate would succeed Dean Katt who resigned earlier this month.
