OTTAWA — The Ottawa Task Force remains ahead of the Holley, Fla., Navarre Intermediate School in the “Recycling Rumble,” running through the end of the money. They will get some money for recycling, and the winner get an Apple I-Pad from the recycling program Funding Factory. As of now, the score is Ottawa 905 to the Florida school at 77, city planning director Wynndee Lee said. Play task force member Fonda Rose said Ottawa Middle School students remain excited about the Recycling Rumble and are determined to brint the I-Pad to Ottawa. So far, the Ottawa recycling effort has raised $650 to be used for new playground equipment at Forest Park. Take used ink and laser cartridges, and small electronics to the collection bin at city hall. Another opportunity coming up is to donate cash or recycling items at the Arvest cookout, May 4.
