OTTAWA – Kansans will be happy to know that the numbers are showing the drought seems to be subsiding. According to the latest report from the City of Ottawa at the Ottawa Water Plant, water production is up from this time last year. Last year at this time, water production was at 2,545,000 gallons. This year, water production is up to 2,896,000 gallons. Reservoir levels are up as well. In Pomona, levels are up 0.46 hundredths of a foot from this time last week, while in Melvern levels are up 0.53 hundredths of a foot.
