OTTAWA — The next court hearing for an Ottawa man who was the subject of a standoff and manhunt earlier this year has been continued to July 3. Justin Wheeler has been charged with criminal restraint and two counts of battery. After a woman reported a domestic battery incident, sheriff’s officers surrounded Wheeler’s home in the 4100 block of Iowa Terrace north of Ottawa in January but he evaded them and was later captured on foot that morning by Ottawa police.
