OTTAWA — One of the two men charged in connection with an armed robbery at the Princeton Quick Stop in December has asked for a jury trial. Dalton Dunnagan, \Mound City, has pleaded not guilty. His trial has been scheduled for July 22-24 in Franklin County District Court. He’s been charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated assault. A second man charged in the case, William Pope, Garnett, hasn’t made a plea in the case and has yet to request a trial. Pope, who has also been charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated assault, is due back in court in June 10. Two men entered the Princeton convenience store and one brandished what appeared to be a hand gun and demanded money from the cash register. The cashier gave the robbers a little more than $1,200. Within minutes, Ottawa police officers pulled over a car matching the description of the car used in the robbery along I-35, between the K-68 and 15th Street interchanges.
