WELLSVILLE — A fire destroyed an attached garage at a home in the 4600 block of Pawnee Road south of Wellsville early Monday morning. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said the fire in the garage tripped the alarm, alerting rural firefighters. A 27-year-old Shawnee man told the sheriff’s office he was minding the home for his 57-year-old father of Wellsville. The cause of the fire is under investigation. There was no immediate estimate of damage but the garage was a total loss. There were no injuries.
