OTTAWA–People need to understand the cost of the new Kansas Law taking effect July 1 that allows people with a permit to carry a concealed firearm into city hall and other public buildings. That’s the message from Ottawa City Manager Richard Nienstedt…..he says just to set up a security checkpoint at City Hall would probably cost from 60 to 80 thousand dollars.
