PRINCETON — Antique iron will meet green fields and chirping birds when the Power of the Past Club holds a tractor ride from Princeton to Lane Saturday morning. Power of the Past President Richard Mullins says the group will gather at Garst Field at Princeton at 8, with slow tractors leaving at 9 and faster tractors leaving 45 minutes later for Lane. The Club tries to change its annual tractor ride route every year so it has been a few years since the tractors have gone to Lane, he said. The event is open to the public and the Club will offer a tram for 20 people to ride along. Entry fees for tractor drivers is $10 but includes breakfast. The Pottawatomie Ruritans will serve lunch for $8.
