WASHINGTON — A new blend of ethanol could save you some money at the pump; that is, if the pump will sell it to you. It’s called E-15, a high-ethanol blend that contains 15 percent ethanol, much higher than the 10 percent which drivers see right now at gas stations. The AAA tells ABC News said the fuel could damage older cars and now the oil industry’s chief lobbying group has asked the Supreme Court to block sales of E-15. The ethanol industry said it thinks there’s nothing to worry about and said there are no documented cases of engine damage caused by ethanol, ABC reports. The court could decide this week whether to hear the case.
