OTTAWA — Ottawa firefighters responded to an alarm at the Ottawa Middle School Wednesday morning. Fire Chief Jeff Carner says a control switch on a heating and air-conditioning unit overheated, causing a small amount of smoke around the unit. He says there was no damage.
