OTTAWA — Perhaps it was coincidence rather than the Night of the Triffids. Ottawa firefighters were called to two incidents in which tree limbs fell on houses in the 800 block of South Hickory and 1400 block of South Main Street. Firefighters checked the limbs to make sure there was no immediate danger, Ottawa Fire Chief Jeff Carner said.
