WEST FRANKLIN — ECKAN is seeking two volunteers for the West Franklin Head Start Program. ECKAN needs a bus monitor for the morning route, which is from 7 to 8:30, two to three days a week for the whole school year. This volunteer will interact with families and will also keep the kids entertained by singing songs and playing games while on the bus route. The volunteer must be able to pass a KBI background check and attend all licensing training including CPR and First Aid. ECKAN also needs a volunteer for the Head Start Kitchen in Pomona. This person transports food to the classroom, serves then cleans up. This position would be on Mondays only for most of the school year for approximately five hours each week. The volunteer would also need most of the same training for the bus monitor.
