OSAWATOMIE — Crescent Hill Road south of U.S. 169 will be closed for reconstruction beginning next Monday, Aug. 5. The west end of 371st Street where it intersects with Crescent Hill Road will also be closed, the Kansas Department of Transportation said. There is no detour; traffic should use alternate routes. KDOT said the temporary closure is part of the U.S. 169 roadway rehabilitation project in Miami County. As part of the project, the contractor will raise and widen the driving surface and ditches. Crescent Hill Road is expected to reopen in less than a month, weather permitting.
