KANSAS CITY — At least three children and two adults were injured when a vehicle crashed into a Kansas City day care center yesterday afternoon. Kansas City Police told KMBC Channel 9 that a Range Rover rear-ended a Cadillac in the 3600 block of East 27th Street in Kansas City. The collision sent the Cadillac through the wall of the Christian Academy Child Care. Three children and a day care employee, and the 80-year-old driver of the Range Rover were briefly hospitalized. KMBC reports that two children were pinned beneath one of the vehicles, and that bystanders helped pulled one child from beneath the vehicle. Police said there were 40 children in the day care at the time of the crash.
