RANTOUL — Franklin County deputies seized several dogs Saturday afternoon after they checked a report of mistreated dogs south of Rantoul. Deputies found the dogs at the home of George Waddle, 56, in the 4300 block of John Brown Road. The Sheriff’s Office said a veterinarian asked that the dogs be seized after finding numerous dogs with severe skin conditions and all drastically under-weight. Deputies weren’t able to locate Waddle. A criminal report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office.
