OTTAWA — An Overland Park man was sent to the hospital and the southbound lanes of I-35 was shut down for almost an hour after a wreck Sunday afternoon at the Marais des Cygnes  River bridge.  Vincent Herr, 54, Overland Park; was driving south along I-35 when he drifted onto the shoulder and struck a parked semi-truck, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported.  Herr was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.  The trucker, Chon Owen, 41, Laredo, Texas, was standing by his truck when the crash occurred.  He wasn’t injured, the highway patrol said.  Traffic was detoured from I-35 at K-68 and routed through Ottawa.
