PARKER — A 41-year-old Garnett man was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center Friday morning after a one-vehicle accident in Parker. James Thacker was approaching the T intersection at 2100 and Vaskerville roads and failed to stop at the stop sign; slammed on the brakes, and his truck went into the ditch, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. He was wearing a seat belt.
