TOPEKA — Area truckers have been honored by state officials. The truckers were part of the team that won the national truck driving championships sponsored by the American Trucking Association. It’s the first time a Kansas team has taken home the national team trophy. Among the truckers, Jeff Davis and David Knight of Wal-Mart Transportation of Ottawa; and David Eckles, Jr., of Old Dominion Freight Lines at Spring Hill.
